Outdoor catering
Apart from the regular operations of an Indian Restaurant, the Jewel of India has also been active in the Outdoor Catering area. The restaurant has catered for various occasions from 50 to 600 people which include weddings in the sub-continental community, catering for various events at the Indian High Commission in Canberra etc. These have been at various venues which include catering at Old Parliament House, Queanbeyan Bicentennial Centre, Albert Hall, Theo Notaras Multicultural Centre and Thoroughbred Park.

- Catering for 250 pax for the Independance Day Luncheon at the High Commission of India - Aug 2009
Catering for 100 pax to celebrate Indian Election Results at the High Commission of India - May 2009
- Catering for upto 600 pax for the Reception of Sri Lankan Cricket team at Thoroughbred Park - February 2008
- Catering for Independence Day Function for 350 pax at the High Commission Of India – Aug 2008
- Catering for Indian Wedding for about 250 pax – February 2007
- Catering for Indian Engagement Ceremony – 125 pax – June 2007

- Catering for Sri Lankan Wedding for 450 pax at Old Parliament House – December 2000
In addition we frequently cater to private functions from anywhere between 50 to 150 people and offer a variety of Menus tailor-made to suit individual requests and tastes. Our Chefs are able to cook authentic Indian food from any region of India as well as the popular Indian-Chinese fusion cuisine. We are able to prvide live cooking stations on site. We also offer services ranging from just delivery of food to complete catering which includes service of food and drinks.
